Mold Assessment Group was formed in 2004 in Charlotte, NC,  by  Mr. Ron Yountz.  Mr. Yountz has over 23 years experience in the environmental and Indoor Air Quality industry.  Mr. Yountz is a Certified Mold Inspector (CMI), a Certified Mold Remediator (CMR), and a Certified Indoor Environmental Professional (CIEP) as well as a Certified Real Estate CE instructor for both NC and SC, and has authored a course in recognizing mold and its hazards that has been approved by both NC and SC for Real Estate Continuing Education.

Mr. Yountz and Mold Assessment Group are members in good standing of the National Association of Mold Professionals (NAMP) and The Environmental Solutions Association (ESA) participated in many important environmental projects including the following-

	Anthrax removal and resulting Indoor Air Quality clearance testing & reporting
	Ground Zero clean up and air monitoring
	City of Chicago residential mercury contamination inspection project
	Asbestos and lead paint investigation and removal
	Environmental clean up at DOE and DOD facilities

Mold Assessment Group uses state-of-the-art instruments and procedures for mold inspection and remediation. Instruments include-

Mold Assessment Group only uses laboratories certified by IICRC and specializing in mold to analyze samples and report findings.
